Bloated? Simple Solutions that Work FAST

Whether your belly is extending over your pants, face puffy or you’re noticing a little extra jiggle around the thighs, feeling bloated can be a total day-ruiner! Instead of succumbing to the discomfort, I encourage you to try the following:

  1. Practice good food combining - skip the standard American meat + potatoes and opt for protein (fish, eggs, chicken) + low-starch veggie (asparagus, zucchini, leafy greens) instead. This food combo is easier to digest which will lead to less bloating and gas. In addition, I recommend ALWAYS eating fruit on an empty stomach or paired with a nut / seed, never animal protein.

  2. Add parsley - a natural diuretic, parsley helps flush excess fluids from the body. Eat it with or after a meal to flatten your belly in no time.

  3. Drink ginger or peppermint tea - when in immediate need of a de-bloat, these herbs help soothe, calm and improve digestion while fighting inflammation and fluid retention.

  4. Use the RIGHT salt - a high sodium intake causes your body to retain fluids.
