Spring is a reawakening: a time when everything (from the animals to the plants) comes back to life after the long winter slumber. The snow melts and new blooms (grasses, trees, flowers, bushes) emerge. Naturally, green is associated with the vernal season.

The color green not only symbolizes nature, it also represents hope, energy, positivity, prosperity, cleanliness, fertility and a fresh start. Take advantage of the natural lightness and rejuvenating properties this season has to offer by including more GREENS in your diet!

Smoothies - when done correctly - make a great breakfast or pre/post -workout option, especially in the spring and summer months. Packed with veggies and protein, this mineral and antioxidant -rich power combo is light, energizing and sure to keep you balanced throughout even the busiest of days!
