Want to know the key to a successful day? A power breakfast!

When you eat the right combo of foodstuffs first thing in the morning, you infuse your body with nutrients that fire up your brain, awaken your body, and fight later-day hunger and cravings.

Smoothies, when done correctly, pack in a TON of nutrients, including fat, fiber and protein - the three key elements to a well-balanced meal.

This delicious gluten, dairy and soy -free combo contains mood boosting cacao, energizing greens, digestion supportive fiber, anti-aging antioxidants, blood sugar balancing protein and craving curbing minerals. And the best part is it tastes like ice cream (that’s 100% nutritionist-approved)!

Mint Chocolate Chip Smoothie Recipe:

Ingredients:
4-8 oz. homemade cashew milk
3/4 c. blueberries
1/2 banana
1 1/2 c. spinach
1/2 c. steamed, then frozen cauliflower
1 celery stick
1 tbsp. cacao powder
1 tbsp. almond butter
1/8-1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1 scoop grass-fed collagen peptides
Optional: sprinkle cayenne pepper (metabolism-booster!)
Topping: cacao nibs, low-sugar granola or toasted almonds

Instructions: add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and process until smooth. Pour into a mason jar, finish with your favorite topping(s) and enjoy!

Note: in the fall and winter months, smoothies are best consumed at room temperature rather than ice-cold.
